Hello everyone, I've been thinking alot about the future of "St.Irene School for Girls" and I've decided to shorten the series. The truth is I could probably go on forever adding new chapters and that's not necessarily a good thing. If I drag this on too long the story is bound to get stale and I don't want to see that happen. I've been getting alot of great feedback from the readers and the one comment I keep seeing is "can't wait to see the ending". To me, this means I've dragged the story on long enough and the readers want to see a grand finale.
So I'm going to start wrapping things up which will probably take about 5 more chapters. Technically this isn't really the "end" for the series as I'll continue to do image sets of the characters from SISFG but they will be mostly sex and far less dialogue.
Basically the ending is the setup for another series which won't be quite as story-driven as St.Irene.
I'm both saddened and pleased with the news, I like the idea of hearing about a new series, but am sad that St.Irene will becoming to a close.
ReplyDeleteBut there is nothing to say you can't one day go back to the characters and do another story with them.
So will the new series be futa based as well?
Yea the new series is set in the same "universe" as St.Irene and will be mostly futa and the 3 main characters: Lisa, Kim, and Miaka will continue to make appearances.
DeleteThat's good to hear
DeleteI agree :) and that sound very good
DeleteO_o Some big changes are going on.
ReplyDeleteIf You're not enjoying rendering SISFG any more or feel burned, it was the only right decision to make, still quite unexpected.
Either way good luck with the new story :)
I DO still enjoy working on SISFG but I intended from the very beginning to evolve the series into something... bigger. The new series will have the same lore as SISFG but will allow me to introduce many new characters and their stories.
DeleteThats really what I've been trying to do all along is create characters that were "alive", not lifeless sex dolls but women that had personalities, desires, etc.
If that's Your desire towards the course of the series I can only agree, though I grew to like the characters, especially Lisa.
DeleteActually the more I think about it, you guys should just forget I posted this. Ultimately nothing has really changed I'm just struggling a little bit with the story right now. Everything will be fine.
DeleteAnd Lisa isn't going anywhere anytime soon, she'll continue to make appearances in the new comic series.
Man, remember that people say "I cant wait to see the ending" as a way to say "I cant wait to see how it goes on".
ReplyDeleteI mean, if you are bored with this sroty and want to start another one, ok, but if you are quitting this story just cause someone used the word "ending" without knowing what he was asking for, in my opinion, that's a mistake.
The entire idea of a futanari plot in a nun college is one of the best situations you can imagine.
I too got the impression that the guy from e-galleries didn't know what he wanted.
DeleteIt'll end and then? ... "Oooh this new story is so much better I can't wait to see how it will end." (or as an alternative: "Oooh the old story was so much better, rage commencing in: 3..." ) :P .
Jokes aside If it'll help Fas's creativity then he should take that route.
Not to worry, everything going pretty much as I planned from the beginning. I just need to sort out which story arcs I want to include in SISFG or use in the next comic series. There will still probably be 20 or so chapters In St. Irene.
DeleteI see, then if I may suggest something: You could always change the title to " Girls of St. Irene" (or the one giving the idea of a new stage in their lives) after they graduate (or whenever) which could give You unlimited possibilities of adding new characters and (sub)plots, with main characters remaining those three (they could still be friends in contact, or part ways). I suppose some fun and weird stuff with the Organization etc.
ReplyDeleteAnyway no strings attached, just food for thoughts.
Actually I like this idea, leave a gap of a few years or so, make the girls in their early 20's, one remains as a teacher allowing a return to the school and introducing new girls.
DeleteThen we can also see what's happened with the other girls as time has gone past.
Hmm. I do rather like that idea. I might just use that ;)
Deletedecisions, decisions, are always difficult, I send you good luck for the big finale and good luck for your next projects >_n
ReplyDeleteThanks YmomY, I really appreciate your support. If you ever have any requests I'd be glad to render something for you.
DeleteHow is the new chapter going ? Any ETA ?
ReplyDeleteNot to worry, the next chapter should be done in about a week. Sorry if this one took longer than usual. I just haven't been very inspired lately.
